TapeOnline is so much more than media
So yesterday I get a call that a client requires 400 DVDs to be shipped from Atlanta to Scottsdale, Arizona in just 7 days. As in they must arrive in 7 days. Here’s the catch. Until the end of the day TODAY I was still editing that project requiring the 400 DVDs!
We take a quick look at the usual suspects to see if we can get a quick turnaround done on the DVDs and delivered in time. Short answer is “Yes.” But due to the extremely short turnaround, just 5 business days by the time they would receive the master, the cost was pretty darn high.
I’ve been ordering media and tape stock from TapeOnline.com for years and have found them extremely friendly and always on time. I also really dig their retro graphics all over the site.
So for the heck of it, I looked to see if they sell DVD Duplicators. Wow do they! They have everything from the very simple DVD duplicators all the way to full blown professional Rimage publishing stations. Had absolutely no idea they sold this type of equipment. Here’s the whole list of DVD / BluRay / CD duplicators, publishers and printers.
Actually they have a lot of stuff beyond their namesake, tape. P2 cards, hard drives, flash drives and all manner of materials for all areas of production and post production. I order all my media stock from these guys and what I love is that one of their sales reps, Lauren, knows me now. It’s not like I order thousands of pieces of media per year, maybe just a couple hundred, but she remembers me. I like that when company takes the time to learn your name and serve me the same as they would serve a much larger company.
Definitely check these guys out the next time you need some tape stock, camera cards, hard drives and even DVD Recorders. Heck just check out the website because they probably have something you need right now. Like our super sweet MicroBoards 7 DVD burner along with the 400 DVDs, cases and other odds and ends. We WILL deliver those 400 discs to Arizona for the client’s event. It’s called doing what you have to do to meet your client’s needs. Failure’s not an option.
Thanks for your help Lauren!
